About Us

Hotel Chachoo Palace was built in 1974 by Sona Ulla Chachoo together with his wife Biba. At the time he started with 3 hotel rooms. Now many years later it's owned by his son Manzoor Chachoo. Like his father, hospitality and feeling comfortable are the most important. Maybe it is good to know before you book a room that alcohol and/or drugs are strictly prohibited on this property. 

It's a place for all travellers who like good vibes and a comfortable, hassle free stay. From female (solo) travelers we often get complements that they feel very safe with us.  The internet speed is fast and so it is also a good place for travelers/digital nomads who want to work on location.

  Visitors are happy with our hotel because many of our guests regularly book with us again. The hotel is located on the famous Dal Lake in the middle of the green heart of Srinagar.

In 2025 we gave our place a full update. We have 5 double rooms and 2 family rooms with 2 kingsize beds. Come and experience for yourself what a unique stay at Hotel Chachoo Palace feels like.
